  Monica and Mike have always taken great care of me. Corporate messed up a couple times and Mike got the issues rectified immediately and with little inconvenience to me.

  We have had nothing but bad experiences with the State Farm offices in Genoa and Hampshire. The Hampshire office couldn't be bothered to update our contact information in their system even though I'd given it to them several times. They didn't send us a renewal notice. When I caught their mistake and called to ask about it, they took a payment over the phone and sent me a receipt the next day. Now they canceled our policy and my first notification about their being any issue was the refund check that got to our house by some miracle, since they still haven't corrected our address in their system. I had to call them to figure out what was going on and they were very rude to me and acted like it was my fault they couldn't get through to me when they won't update the information in their system. I tried calling the Genoa office hoping they'd help us sort through the mess the Hampshire office made, but the Genoa office has plenty of its own issues too. They have no sense of urgency in helping us get a new homeowner's policy in place so we're covered. They won't return phone calls. We've tried to make payments over the phone and in person to bind the policy, but they won't accept our payments because in the 4 days we've been trying to get a policy through their office, they are apparently "too busy" to come take pictures of our house which is only a couple blocks from their office. If it is this hard to get a policy from them with good credit, no claims, and wanting to GIVE them money, I can only imagine the disaster that would happen if we did have a claim in the future. Needless to say, we're taking our business elsewhere. Wouldn't wish State Farm on our worst enemy.
